ERIC AUTENRIETH

General Manager/Owner

Eric Autenrieth is the Owner of Indiana Auto Auction and the General Manager of Carolina Auto Auction. He is also the former President of the ServNet Auction group. In addition to growing up in the industry, the auction industry has his been his professional career for the last twenty two years. Eric's leadership in marketing and operational excellence has helped the Stanley Auction Group capture numerous Auction of the Year awards from multiple commercial accounts. Eric is a 2004 graduate of Auction Academy and is CAR certified. He has served as President of the NAAA Midwest Zone, and currently serves as Director on the NAAA Southern Zone. Eric is a proud husband, father, and son of Hall of Fame members Henry and Patty Stanley.

JOE LEMONDS

AGM – Sales & Marketing

Joe began his career at Carolina Auto Auction in 2015 as National Account Manager overseeing all commercial account relationships. He has since been promoted to AGM over Sales, leading the Sales and Marketing efforts for both dealer and commercial accounts. He was awarded Auto Remarketing’s “40 Under 40” honor in 2017 as a leader in the auto auction industry which he has served for 7 years. He is a 13 year veteran of the US Marine Corps and holds a B.S. in Political Science from Tennessee State University. He is a husband of 10 years and has two boys.

WANDA JOWERS

AGM - Business Manager

Wanda has been employed at Carolina Auto Auction since 1992. She started as a part-time block clerk and moved to full time in 1994 as Assistant Office Manager. Wanda was promoted to Office Manager in 1996, and recently, in 2017 promoted again to Business Manager overseeing all administrative responsibilities at the auction. She is a graduate of the Auction Academy in March 2016.

VANN HUMPHREY

AGM – Operations and Compliance

Vann has a total of 22 years working in the automotive industry and has recently joined Carolina Auto Auction in 2018 as AGM of Operations. Prior to his current position he spent 20 years employed with a non-prime auto lender, the last 8 years as senior manager of collateral recovery, remarketing, and vendor-facing compliance. His experience covers a wide spectrum in the area of business operations in both an associate capacity and a leadership capacity.

KELLY AYERS

Reconditioning Manager

Kelly joined Carolina Auto Auction as a part-time driver in 2002 and soon moved into the Recon department as a dryer. It was not long after that he was promoted to Recon Manager. He leads a team at a location where Reconditioning is stressed so much that details are named after the owner… that is a “Henry Stanley Detail”. Voted Best Reconditioning Shop by Used Car News.

STEVEN BROCK

Fleet/Lease Operations Manager

“Brock” is a 9 year veteran at Carolina Auto Auction and manages the lease operations team. Brock is a former condition report writer and outside coordinator for such accounts as Exeter Finance, Santander, and BB&T. He was promoted to Fleet/Lease Operations Manager in 2017 and has been a big influence in the Carolina Auto Auction operational growth over the past 18 months.

KLINE MATTHEWS

Sales Manager

Kline is a veteran of the automobile industry, having previously been both a General Manager and Finance Manager for various franchise dealerships. He was briefly employed as an Outside Sales Representative for Carolina Auto Auction before becoming the Sales Manager and helping Carolina Auto Auction make 2018 one of its best years in history. Kline is married and has four children, with the newest addition born in May of 2018.

DOUG McALISTER

Shop Manager

Doug came out of retirement in 2013 to join the Carolina Auto Auction team as Mechanic Shop Manager. He formerly worked in the nuclear power industry for five years before pursuing his own business. In 1983 he opened an Auto Repair Center which grew to 3 locations, including a towing and auto salvage business, before retiring in 2008.

DEE MILLS

Transportation & Operations Manager

Dee has been at Carolina Auto Auction for six years. She started as Quality Control in the Recon area before moving to Vehicle Registration. In 2018 she was promoted to Operations Manager overseeing all of Transportation, Vehicle Registration, Maintenance, and the Guards. She has a daughter and they are avid bowlers.

SCOTT WHITAKER

Marketing Manager

Scott has managed the marketing efforts for CAA for six years now after leaving the finance world as a Bank Manager. He holds an MBA in Marketing and has 20 years of experience in marketing and finance. Scott is also a 3rd degree black belt, football referee, and is married with 4 children.
